Free and Pro

Free runs your server. Pro adds your own scripts and services, and watches the server for you. Prices and questions are on the pricing page.

Free has no time limit and needs no account. It includes:

  • Server Setup, Free up memory, and a restart that waits for your services.
  • Tailscale built in, pairing, and any number of Macs using the server.
  • The panel: disk, memory and CPU with 30 minutes of sparklines, the problems banner, and notifications on your Mac.
  • Launchers for Screen Sharing, Terminal, Files and your code editor.
  • The whole app catalog. An app the catalog recognises as already running counts as a catalog app.
  • The two scheduled jobs Server Setup adds: the nightly backup to iCloud Drive and the weekly app updates.
  • One server, and one service you add yourself.
  • Any number of servers, and any number of services you add yourself.
  • Your own actions: shell commands and launchd jobs. The jobs Server Setup adds don’t count.
  • Detail lines you write for a service. A catalog app’s own line, like Ollama’s “2 models loaded”, is part of Free.
  • Dev Hosts.
  • Coming: offline alerts (an email within 5 minutes when the server stops checking in) and a weekly report.

Until billing starts, every Pro feature is unlocked. A small Pro label marks each one in the app, and its tooltip says “Free during the beta”. When billing starts, the app gives 30 days’ notice first, and beta users and the early-access list are offered a founder price.

If Pro ends, nothing is stopped or deleted: services keep running on the server, and what’s beyond Free shows a Pro label until Pro is back.
