Notifications

MiniControl notifies you when a problem lasts longer than a minute, and again when it’s back to normal. Change the delay in Settings → General. Problems that fix themselves within the delay don’t notify at all.

It notifies about:

  • A service that stopped, isn’t responding, or whose agent is missing
  • A server that’s offline
  • A disk under 10% free
  • Critical memory pressure
  • A scheduled job that failed or is overdue

macOS asks for permission the first time MiniControl runs.
